Welcome Home: A Full-Circle Idaho Relocation Story
There are real estate transactions, and then there are journeys that stay with you. Helping Faith and Herb relocate to Idaho was the kind of experience that reminds us exactly why we do what we do.
After 10 months of careful planning, patience, and teamwork, Faith and Herb are officially homeowners at 101 Gold Bar in Caldwell. Their move from New York wasn’t just about buying a house, it was about coming home to family.
What made this story especially meaningful is that we’ve had the honor of helping their entire family relocate to Idaho over time. Children, in-laws, and now Faith and Herb. Getting them here felt like the final chapter of a beautiful family transition.
Our work together started long before they were ready to travel. While Faith and Herb focused on selling their New York home, we spent time touring 10 to 12 properties with their family in the Boise area. The goal was simple but important: truly understand what Faith and Herb needed in a home. Space, comfort, location, and lifestyle all mattered.
We wrote a few offers that didn’t come together, and while that can feel frustrating in the moment, this experience proved something we believe deeply. Sometimes, the right home is worth waiting for.
Once Faith and Herb arrived in person, after selling, renting, and taking a big leap of faith, everything clicked. We found a beautiful, updated home that checked every box. Faith fell in love with the layout and updates. Herb got exactly what he dreamed of, a large shop where he can tinker and create to his heart’s content. Add in a big yard, a country feel, and proximity to everything they need, and it was a perfect match.
Watching them receive their keys was more than a closing. It was a milestone. A reunion. A reminder that real estate is ultimately about people, relationships, and trust.
